Geelong Handrails was engaged to design, fabricate and install a full DDA compliant access and fall protection system for the new Yang Yang Asian Grocery fitout in Box Hill.
The accessible ramp's height exceeded a 1m fall, requiring glass balustrade infill for fall protection. A D-Clamp glass balustrade system was selected for this application, paired with post mounted compliant handrails throughout the ramp and access points.
The system was designed and installed to meet DDA and NCC access requirements, while maintaining the aesthetic standard expected of a new retail fitout. Combining full compliance with a clean, open sightline into the store.
