Geelong Handrails manufactured and installed 94 linear metres of DDA compliant stainless steel handrails across Monash University's Caulfield campus, as part of a building compliance upgrade delivered in partnership with a leading construction group.
The scope covered 8 staircases and 1 ramp across the campus, utilising a combination of 38.1mm round post mount, wall mount and ramp handrails with 180-degree terminations — all fabricated and installed in accordance with AS 1428.1:2021.
A key challenge of this project was coordinating installation across a fully operational university campus, working around students, staff and daily building activity. Our team managed the programme efficiently, completing each area with minimal disruption to the building's operations.
