Chilwell Library - DDA Ramp Handrail & Post Mount Stair Handrails

Geelong Handrails had the opportunity to design, fabricate and install DDA compliant handrail systems for the new Chilwell Library, delivering safe, compliant access across both the entry ramp and stair approach.

The scope covered 15m of DDA compliant ramp handrail and 9m of post mounted handrails across the entry stairs & ramp, both manufactured with 180 degree terminations & in 50mm brushed satin stainless to complement the building's recycled brick facade and modern architectural finish.

Every system we install is intentionally designed and installed to meet DDA and NCC access requirements, balancing full compliance with the clean, considered aesthetic of the building's entrance and longevity of the product.
