Geelong Handrails was engaged to design, fabricate and install DDA compliant handrails across multiple access points at the new Belmont High School building.
The scope covered several stairs and a ramp throughout the new school building. We manufactured and installed 50mm round post mount and ramp handrails with return to floor terminations to meet AS1428.1. The handrails were finished off in a Satin brushed finish for the durability and commercial finish.
This project being construction, works were coordinated within a live construction site alongside other trades on site, with all handrail a elements measured, designed and drafted, fabricated and installed in accordance within specification and compliance requirements.
